This elopement style wedding was something a little different. Alex and Diogo wanted the opportunity to celebrate their love in an intimate location out in nature. I had always wanted to shoot at the simply breathtaking beach of Praia da Ursa on the west coast near Lisbon and this shoot did not disappoint. Getting down to beach level was quite an adventure, particularly for Alex hiking down the cliffs in a wedding dress and big boots (I love the pictures of her dress and boots combi!). An elopement is such a special way for a couple to celebrate their love and the area around Lisbon has so many epic locations, Praia da Ursa must be the very most epic place on the whole coast, though, and I can’t wait to go back.
