Los Jardines de Alfabia is a stunning venue in Mallorca and this wedding made the most of the beautiful setting. Leticia and Alex clearly have impecable taste and this wedding had all of the Mallorcan flavours and colours on a beautiful, warm November afternoon.
Set in the Tramuntana mountains on the northern side of the island of Mallorca, Jardines de Alfabia offers an incredible blend of nature, history and romance. With views on all sides of the mountains and lush greenery all around, this venue is perfect if you want to immerse yourself in nature on your wedding day. The setting is intimate and elegant but full of that old world charm you'd expect on a Spanish island.
And from a photographer's perspective it has so many opportunities for creating beautiful photos, from old archways of grape vines, palm trees and of course those amazing mountain views in the background. If you're wondering what the best time of year to get married here is, the ideal time would be spring and autumn when the heat is lower, although with so many trees, there's considerably more shade from the summer heat than many other venues on the island.
You can check the weather conditions here to see what conditions are like. If you're considering getting married in Mallorca, I can't recommend Los Jardines de Alfabia highly enough.
This wedding was photographed on a mix of digital and 35mm film. If you'd like to see more of my film photography from Mallorca and other places across Europe, click here or if you' like to add Super 8 videography to your wedding in Mallorca coverage, click here.
