Weddings at Pazo de Sergude have a certain kind of magic. From the beautiful old buildings of the pazo itself, the beautiful courtyard with its central fountain and, of course, the ceremony space under a canopy of trees, Pazo de Sergude exudes Celtic charm and the essence of green Galicia. This without mentioning the incredible dining/party space inside a greenhouse with trees on all sides (and overhead), the light filtering through the leaves into the space through the glass is a real treat both as a guest and, especially, as a photographer. Not for nothing is Pazo de Sergude considered one of the best wedding venues in Galicia.   

So Pazo de Sergude served as a stunning backdrop for Ana and Rodri's incredible celebration. Right from the first moment I spoke to Ana, she exuded a sense of fun. For them, the wedding was an opportunity to party with fiends long into the night, and oh did they party! We share a love of dance music and when Ana explained that they planned to have a rave in the woods as an afterparty, I was sold!

On the photography side, Ana and Rodri just wanted canid, spontaneous and natural pictures and really just wanted me to 'do my thing'. Having been a photographer herself in the past, I knew Ana understood a bit more about what I was trying to achieve with my photography and her trust in me meant I was able to really be creative on the day. It's easy being a photographer, though, when the vibes are so on point, everyone is having an incredible time and the venue is providing the perfect backdrop, and Pazo de Sergude didn't disappoint.
